Silver Couple

This couple from Poland was really sweet and was happy to talk with me. I've seen them many times while passing through Unter den Linden. There you can find many street performers dressed in funny costumes like these guys. I came at a perfect time because they were touching up their silver makeup after a quick lunch break. It would have been a lot harder to talk to them if they would have been standing up in and in character. Luckily for me they spoke better English than German so I was able to ask them different questions. They have been here since the beginning of July and will leave the end of August. They needed a little extra money to help finance their vacation here in Berlin. They were pretty genius because they capture everyone one's attention on the street and it is not only because they are dressed in silver. They have personality and have picked great costumes. "well we knew we wanted to do this but we knew we had to be different from all of the other performers" he said "it does help that there are two of us." They stand side by side almost every day until about 15.00 and then become tourist again. "we go out and have a few drinks with the money that we just earned" What a great way to earn some extra traveling money. I should have been doing this all along.
